Season 4 will premiere on September 1, 2008. Producers have reported that Sara Tancredi, who was believed to have been killed in season 3, will be making a return as a regular cast member in season 4.It is also mentioned in promotional information that the season will involve an FBI agent (Michael Rapaport) teaming up with the protagonists Michael and Lincoln and several other characters to bring down the Company once and for all. This season, instead of a break out, they will be making a break in. The story includes a new character F.B.I Agent Wyatt (Cress Williams) investigating whether or not the main characters are actually recaptured and are in a maximum security prison as was reported. Also, A Fox rep for Prison Break confirms that one or possibly two of the show’s main characters will die in the season premiere. a recent script leak for episode 10 “The Legend” reveals that Brad Bellick is dead by the time of the tenth episode. Another character that will help fill the gap left by the dead characters is Roland Hiroyuki Liao a hacker from Brooklyn who gets under the team’s skin, but whose technical knowledge they require.
If the state of Texas has anything to say about it, Prison Break won’t be going anywhere. The show brought in an estimated $122.5 million to the economy in the Dallas area and a total of 35 episodes have been filmed there. “We haven’t given up on it,” said Janis Burkland, head of the Dallas Film Comission. “I’ve been calling producers and asking what can we do, if anything, to keep this here.”

Recently it was announced that Prison Break, the weekly serial drama broadcast on Fox Television Network will be picked up for a fourth season with 22 episodes starting in Fall 2008. But wait, wasn’t Michael Scofield’s main love interest, Dr. Sara Tancredi decapitated early in season 3? Hold up, the catch is that Michael Scofield’s brother, Lincoln merely looked at the head in the box and assumed it was Sara and did not go about conducting a more thorough investigation. So that left the door open for Dr. Sara Tancredi’s possible return.
